DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Emergency Management officials in Houston and Henry counties in Ala., along with Early County, Ga., will conduct an audible siren test at noon on Dec. 10, 2025, in the area surrounding the Farley Nuclear Plant.
Officials say the sirens are part of the routine emergency alert system used to notify residents in the unlikely event of an issue at the plant. Wednesday’s activation is only a test, and no protective actions are required. There is no emergency.
