DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Toyota of Dothan wrapped up its annual Toys for Tots collection on Monday, delivering 35 boxes of toys along with four bicycles to support children across the Wiregrass.
The dealership partnered with the Wiregrass Marine Corps League once again, continuing a tradition that has lasted about 15 years. This year’s drive began Nov. 7 and concluded with the Dec. 9 pickup, marking another successful season of the Wiregrass community generosity.
Caleb Long, who helped lead the effort, said the mission carries personal meaning. “As someone who benefited from Toys for Tots, heading off this initiative is a way to give back to my community, and to inspire others to do the same,” Long said.
The items collected will soon be distributed to families in need all across the Wiregrass.
