DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Alabama Extension is gearing up for the 2026 Cotton Expo, a daylong event bringing together growers, researchers, vendors, and industry leaders for a deep dive into the future of cotton production.
Organizers say the expo will feature expert-led sessions from Alabama Extension and Florida State University, giving farmers access to the latest research and real-world strategies. Jon Devine, a senior economist with Cotton Incorporated, will deliver the keynote address.
More than 30 on-site vendors are expected to participate, showcasing new technology and tools designed to support cotton producers across the region. Attendees will have opportunities to network, learn, and enter for a chance to win thousands of dollars in door prizes throughout the day.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses looking to get involved. Registration is required for sponsors; for more information, call 334-585-6416.
While attendee registration is appreciated, organizers say walk-ins are welcome.
