DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Wiregrass Hope Group will host its third annual Walk for Life on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Forever Wild Trails.
Organizers say the fundraiser is designed to bring the community together to honor and celebrate life while raising money to support the group’s mission.
The family-friendly event will include a Kids’ Zone featuring inflatables, face painting and yard games. Booths from local nonprofits, organizations and businesses are also expected to be set up throughout the event.
The 50-meter Kids’ Race will return, giving children a chance to compete for a fun prize. The popular Pastor Dash will also take place, where local pastors race to the finish line.
Registration is $30 per person and includes an event T-shirt. The deadline to register and guarantee a shirt is March 25. Walk-up registration will begin at 8 a.m. on the day of the event.
Wiregrass Hope Group is a pregnancy and care clinic that provides free pregnancy, parenting and counseling services. The organization has served families in the Wiregrass for more than 40 years. Proceeds from the Walk for Life will support its ongoing programs.
