WICKSBURG, Ala. (WDNews) — Wicksburg Fire and Rescue is firing up the pots one more time before a long break.
The department will host a Brunswick stew sale Saturday, Feb. 28, beginning at 3 p.m. Stew will be available for pickup at the station and will be sold until it is gone.
The cost is $13 per quart or $25 for two quarts.
Fire officials say this will be the last Brunswick stew sale until December, making it the final opportunity for several months for residents to stock up.
Proceeds from the sale help support the department’s operations and equipment needs. Residents are encouraged to arrive early, as past sales have sold out quickly.
