OZARK, Ala. (WDNews) — Dale County Sheriff’s Office opened its shooting range this week to members of Wiregrass Angel House, giving the team a chance to take part in hands-on firearms training alongside deputies.
Officials say the goal was to help participants gain confidence and learn safety fundamentals in a controlled setting. Despite the cold weather, the group showed strong participation and enthusiasm throughout the evening.
The Sheriff’s Office offered thanks to everyone who helped coach, oversee drills, and keep the session running safely. Deputies said they appreciated the opportunity to work with the Angel House team and hope to continue similar training opportunities in the future.
