DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — A new coffee shop and retail development are coming to the growing west side of Dothan along U.S. Highway 84 West.
Construction is underway across from the westside Publix shopping center for a new standalone Red Owl Coffee Company location, bringing the regional coffee brand to Dothan. Red Owl Coffee Company operates multiple locations throughout the Southeast and is known for specialty coffee drinks, breakfast items, smoothies and other beverages.
Adjacent to the coffee shop, a new commercial development known as Shoppes at Grove Park is also being built. According to commercial leasing information, the project is planned as a multi-tenant retail and restaurant center along Highway 84 West. Construction is currently in progress, and the development is being marketed for future retail and restaurant tenants.
The new businesses add to continued commercial growth along Dothan’s west corridor, one of the city’s fastest-growing retail areas.
No opening dates for either project have been publicly announced.
