ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — The City of Enterprise welcomed members of the Leadership Coffee County class on Tuesday as part of the program’s Local Government Day activities.
According to the City of Enterprise, participants began the day with a stop at the Enterprise Farmers Market before receiving an overview of city operations from Mayor William E. Cooper Sr.
“Mayor William E. Cooper, Sr. welcomed participants and shared an overview of how the many departments and organizations represented throughout the day work together to provide services, enhance quality of life, and support continued growth in our community,” the city stated.
Throughout the day, Leadership Coffee County participants were scheduled to meet with city leaders and staff from several departments and organizations, including Engineering and Public Works, Finance, Municipal Court, Enterprise Police Department, Enterprise Fire Department, Enterprise Parks and Recreation, Downtown Enterprise and Visit Enterprise.
The city said the program provides participants with “a behind-the-scenes look at the many services that help keep our city running each day.”
Officials also thanked the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce for its role in the program.
“We appreciate the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Coffee County’s commitment to developing informed community leaders and are honored to showcase the dedicated employees who serve the citizens of Enterprise,” the city said.
