Dothan, Ala. (WDNews) — A popular spring event is making its return to the Wiregrass, giving families a chance to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend outdoors.
Dothan Leisure Services announced Blooms & Breezes will take place Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at Kiwanis Playground Park on Deerpath Road.
The event is designed to honor moms and mother figures with a relaxed morning of family-friendly activities. Organizers say guests can come and go throughout the event and enjoy activities at their own pace.
Attendees can expect complimentary mini-bouquets for the first 200 people, along with nature-themed crafts, local artisan vendors, and a self-guided walk along the Kiwanis Trail. A scavenger hunt will also be available for families.
Additional highlights include a local coffee truck, Libby Lu’s, and a Mother’s Day photo booth where staff will assist guests with photos using their own phones.
Organizers say the event is meant to bring the community together for a simple, outdoor celebration centered around family and nature.
