Dale County SO Joins Young Eagles Event in Dothan

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Dale County Sheriff’s Office recently took part in the Young Eagles aviation event in DOTHAN, helping introduce local youth to the world of aviation and potential future career paths.

The event gave attendees a hands-on look at aviation while also highlighting how aerial resources play a key role in public safety operations. Deputies worked alongside partners with W.A.S.P., demonstrating how aircraft are used to assist law enforcement and emergency response efforts.

Sheriff Mason Bynum attended the event, spending time with participants and encouraging young people to consider careers rooted in service and leadership.

The sheriff’s office said it remains committed to supporting opportunities that invest in the future of the community and provide young people with meaningful exposure to career possibilities.
