DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Dothan Housing Authority is inviting families to an upcoming open house event this week.
The event is set for Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Michael C. Patton Event Center, located at the Dothan Housing Authority, 1001 Montana Street.
Dothan Housing will welcome Primer Schools for an informational presentation and discussion aimed at families with students in grades 3 through 8. Organizers say the session will focus on educational options that offer quality, convenience and security.
All attendees will receive a free Chick-fil-A dinner.
The open house will include a presentation and information session designed to help families learn more about available opportunities and ask questions.
According to event organizers, the Primer Foundation’s mission is to create a world where every child — especially those in underserved communities — has access to a world-class education, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
