Washington County, Fla (WDNews) Dothan residents were seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon in Washington County, Florida.
The wreck happened at the intersection of Clayton Road and State Road 277, just north of Vernon.
Florida Highway Patrol reports a 21-year-old woman from Chipley was turning left onto State Road 277 when her SUV struck an oncoming motorcycle.
Troopers say the motorcycle was operated by a 36-year-old woman from Dothan, with a 16-year-old Dothan girl riding as a passenger. The collision caused the motorcycle to flip, ejecting both riders before the bike came to rest along the grassy shoulder.
Both the driver and the teenage passenger were reported to have sustained serious injuries.
