DOTHAN, Ala (WDNews) — Dothan Housing is rolling out a free opportunity for high school seniors and adults looking to continue their education. The College, Trade, and Scholarship Prep Workshop is set for Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Crimson Ridge Community Room, located at 109 Booker St.
The workshop is open to anyone preparing for college, exploring trade programs, or searching for scholarship options. Organizers say the goal is to give residents the tools and confidence needed to move forward with their education or career plans.
Dothan Housing also announced that the Susan Morrison Scholarship application process is now open to all PBV and HCV individuals and families. Those interested are encouraged to contact Resident Services for more information.
Officials say they’re looking forward to welcoming community members and helping them take the next step toward their future.
