Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Joel Sigler from Harvest Church joined What’s Happening Wiregrass to discuss the second annual Pray 4 Dothan, a week dedicated to bringing the community together through prayer.
Pray 4 Dothan will take place Sunday, August 16, through Saturday, August 22. Residents are encouraged to spend extra time praying for the city, its schools, businesses, leaders and families.
One of the most visible parts of the week returns Monday through Wednesday, when more than 60 prayer teams will gather at intersections across Dothan from approximately 7:30 to 8 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear red, helping the groups stand out throughout the city.
People can also organize prayer gatherings at workplaces, schools or homes. Sigler said participation has grown since last year, with more churches and teams getting involved. The effort is expanding beyond Dothan as well, with Ozark organizing its own Pray 4 Ozark event.
