Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – On this week’s episode of The Dragon’s Den Coaches Show, Katelyn filled in for Dylan and joined Dothan United Head Coach Ricky and General Manager Aaron to recap a successful week for the Dragons and preview another busy Saturday at Rip Hewes Stadium.
The Dragons picked up a 2-0 road victory over Birmingham Legion 2 on Wednesday night, with Ryan Holmes scoring both goals. Coach Ricky said the team executed its game plan well despite challenging conditions, including the heat and a narrow turf field. The shutout marked the club’s third straight league match without conceding a goal, something Ricky said continues to put the team in a strong position to win.
Aaron also highlighted the success of Circle City Scratchers Night, which once again raised money and collected food and supplies for Wiregrass Pets through merchandise sales, jersey auctions and fan donations.
Attention now turns to Saturday’s home match against East Atlanta. Fans are encouraged to bring school supplies for the All In Credit Union School Supply Drive, with each donation earning a free ticket to the game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., with a fireworks show following the match.
