Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Dothan Dragons coaches Aaron and Ricky joined the Dragons Den Coaches Show to preview Saturday’s Circle City Scratchers Night, a special event that combines soccer, community support, and fundraising for Wiregrass Pets.

The Dragons will take the field in their popular pink and black Circle City Scratchers jerseys, which will be worn for one night only. Fans can bid on the game-worn jerseys through an online auction, with proceeds benefiting Wiregrass Pets.

Saturday’s event will also serve as a donation drive for the local nonprofit. Fans who bring pet supplies such as food, leashes, collars, bowls, and other needed items will receive a free ticket to the match. Coaches noted that Wiregrass Pets continues to face growing demand and remains in need of community support.

On the field, the Dragons remain unbeaten in league play and are coming off a hard-fought draw after a busy stretch of matches. Coaches said the focus now is on recovery and giving additional players opportunities as the club prepares for the second half of the season.

The Dragons will face Celestione, a Wiregrass-Panhandle all-star team, on Saturday night. Gates open at 6 p.m. with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at Rip Hewes Stadium.
