Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Wiregrass Daily News sat down with Haley Watts of Rise Up Worship to discuss the upcoming Rise Up worship event returning to the Wiregrass later this month. Watts, who serves as a worship leader and assists with marketing for the ministry, shared details about the night of worship and the organization’s growing outreach efforts.

The main event is scheduled for March 14 and will feature an evening focused on worship, ministry, and community. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the program beginning at 7 p.m. at The Plant. The event is free and open to the public, though attendees are encouraged to bring canned food items and toiletries to support the Love in Action ministry.

Guest speakers will include Pastor Alex Brown from Atlanta, who will deliver the main message, and missionary Jose Alvarez Martinez from Honduras, who will share his testimony and experiences in ministry.

The Rise Up worship band, made up of musicians from churches across the Wiregrass and nearby Florida communities, will lead worship and food trucks will also be on site for those wishing to purchase refreshments.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. More information about the event and the ministry can be found at www.riseupworship.com or on the Rise Up Worship Facebook page.
