Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Wiregrass Daily News sat down with Nash, also known as Nash Carr, to talk about bringing his nationally traveling NashCar Show tour back to his home turf in the Wiregrass. A local graduate with deep ties to the community, Nash described the event as a pre-homecoming of sorts, with an even bigger homecoming announcement on the horizon.

The NashCar Show blends all makes and models, from classic and antique cars to exotics, imports, bikes and custom builds. What began as a neighborhood fundraiser behind Coppinville Junior High School has grown into a multi-city rolling tour attracting competitors from across the country. The event’s top prize is the custom automotive key, valued at nearly $5,000 and awarded to Best of Show.

The family-friendly event takes place Saturday, March 14 at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9 a.m., and children 10 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available at nashcarshow.eventbrite.com or by calling 334-494-1502 for more information and registration.
