DOTHAN, Ala (WDNews) – Wallace Community College will host a Health Science Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 5, offering students and community members a chance to explore careers in the healthcare field.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Heersink Family Health Science Building on the Wallace campus, located at 1141 Wallace Drive in DOTHAN.

College officials say the fair is open to current students, prospective students and members of the public who are interested in pursuing a career in health sciences. Healthcare employers and universities offering health science majors will be on site to discuss job openings, career pathways and workforce needs across the region.

Organizers say the event is designed to give attendees direct access to healthcare professionals while highlighting in-demand careers within the industry. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about employment options available locally and throughout the Wiregrass.

Wallace Community College offers a wide range of health science programs focused on hands-on training and academic preparation for healthcare careers.
