Dothan, AL. (WDNews) – Wiregrass Daily News met with Angela Lane and Tammy Doer of Visit Enterprise to discuss the Enterprise Senior Center and its upcoming Winter Wonderland Open House. Lane, who has served as Senior Center Coordinator for more than two decades, says the center is a welcoming place where seniors gather for activities, meals, fitness classes, and social connection.
Located at the Enterprise Civic Center, the Senior Center offers free programs including arts and crafts, senior aerobics, games, educational speakers, and daily congregate meals. The center also provides homebound meals and transportation for eligible residents living within city limits.
Doer says the goal is to let the community know the Senior Center is a vibrant hub for seniors at every stage of life, offering resources, friendships, and a strong sense of belonging.
The Winter Wonderland Open House will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon and will feature informational tables, activities, and a chance for the public to tour the facility and meet staff.
