DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Dothan Leisure Services is preparing for the return of Christmas at Westgate, the city’s free signature drive-through light show. The holiday display officially opens on Black Friday, November 28, and will run nightly from sundown until midnight through New Year’s Eve.
This year’s event features new light displays throughout Westgate Park, continuing the tradition of offering families a festive and convenient way to enjoy holiday magic.
Leisure Services is also introducing a new feature for children — Santa’s Mailbox. Kids will be able to send letters directly to the North Pole by placing them in the mailbox at the Westgate Recreation Center.
Drivers can also enjoy synchronized Christmas lights at Water World Dothan, timed to music available on 88.1 FM.
Visitors are encouraged to begin the route at the Westgate Tennis Center entrance, 810 Recreation Road.
