Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Wiregrass Daily News had the pleasure of meeting with Amanda Hatcher, Food Services Director for Sterling Event Services, part of the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center (WRC).
Hatcher explained that WRC provides employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities across the Wiregrass region, offering nearly fifteen different businesses on its campus to help participants develop skills and find meaningful work in the community.
Sterling Event Services acts as WRC’s full-service catering and event provider, offering on-site and off-site catering, event planning, and a spacious facility that can accommodate both large gatherings and smaller meetings.
The team is known for their flavorful meals, homemade desserts, and especially their famous cookies. Their offerings range from Southern comfort dishes to Italian and Mexican favorites, along with special holiday meal packages and their signature blueberry lemonade.
