ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — Residents in Enterprise should plan ahead for changes to garbage collection ahead of the Independence Day holiday.
According to the City of Enterprise, all city offices will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Garbage collection will not take place that day.
To accommodate the holiday, sanitation crews will collect Thursday, July 2, routes on Wednesday, July 1. Friday, July 3, routes will instead be collected on Thursday, July 2. No other collection days or routes will be affected.
City officials said the updated schedule replaces the Independence Day collection schedule that was included in the City’s 2026 Holiday Garbage Pickup Schedule released earlier this year.
Residents are reminded to place all garbage and debris at the curb within the city right-of-way by 7 a.m. on their scheduled pickup day.
