DOTHAN — A Dothan man is facing drug trafficking charges after an investigation by narcotics investigators led to the seizure of fentanyl, cash and firearms from two residences in the city.
According to the Dothan Police Department, investigators received information from multiple sources that an individual was allegedly selling fentanyl from residences on Blue Bird Drive and Ozark Street in Dothan.
Authorities said the investigation progressed quickly and resulted in search warrants being obtained for both locations. On June 22, 2026, narcotics investigators executed the search warrants at the Blue Bird Drive and Ozark Street residences.
During the searches, investigators recovered approximately 66 grams of powder fentanyl, about $14,000 in U.S. currency and two handguns.
⅘Police identified the suspect as 24-year-old Thomas Tabriz Holston Jr. of Dothan. He was arrested and charged with drug trafficking involving fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Holston was booked into the Houston County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
The Dothan Police Department thanked community members who provided information during the investigation.
“The Dothan Police Department would like to thank the individuals that gave information to help stop this individual from selling fentanyl in the City of Dothan,” the department said. “Our police department is more efficient when the community partners with us to reduce and eradicate crime.”
Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are possible.
