Dothan, Ala. (WDNews) — Students from Carver Magnet School of Technology made a strong impression at the Alabama State Science Fair held at Auburn University this past weekend, bringing home multiple top honors.
Logan Rogers led the way for Carver MST, earning first place in the Energy category. In addition to the top finish, Rogers also received both the Chemical Engineering Award and the Biosystems Engineering Award, recognizing excellence across multiple scientific disciplines.
The annual state science fair brings together some of the top student researchers from across Alabama, showcasing projects that reflect months of work, testing, and innovation. Carver MST students were among those representing their communities with a wide range of research topics and presentations.
School officials say the accomplishments highlight not only academic excellence but also the commitment students have shown throughout the year in developing and refining their projects.
Faculty members added they are proud of all students who participated, noting the level of preparation and dedication required to compete at the state level.
