Jackson County, Fla. (WDNews) — Four people are facing charges after investigators said a home was burglarized along Highway 90, with thousands of dollars in property reported stolen.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the residence and found signs of forced entry, including a rear door that had been pried open. Investigators said evidence showed the suspect or suspects entered the property from a neighboring home, where a damaged fence and worn path indicated repeated movement between the two locations.
The homeowner returned to find the residence ransacked. Authorities said stolen items included electronics, jewelry, clothing and a firearm.
While following leads, investigators made contact at a nearby residence, where they reported seeing stolen items in plain view. Deputies recovered multiple belongings tied to the burglary, including the stolen firearm.
Investigators determined several individuals were involved. Those charged include Terry Alexander Adkins, Nathan Andrew Kroeger, Alexis Louann Adkins and Ashley Taylor Clark.
All four are charged with armed burglary, grand theft of a firearm and grand theft.
The investigation remains ongoing.
