Former Enterprise Man Killed in Birmingham Bicycle Crash

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WDNews) — A former Enterprise resident died early Thursday after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Birmingham.

According to reports, 31-year-old Brian Austin White was riding his bicycle near the intersection of Chalkville Road and Grayson Valley Parkway shortly after 12:30 a.m. when he was hit by a passing vehicle.

The driver immediately called 911 following the crash and remained at the scene while cooperating with law enforcement.

White was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional information has been released.
