Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Dothan Performing Arts Executive Director Daniel Lewis joined Dylan with Wiregrass Daily News to preview the second annual Circle Sessions singer-songwriter competition, taking place Saturday at the Dothan Opera House.
Lewis said the event gives original songwriters a professionally produced stage while creating networking opportunities and valuable feedback from industry professionals. This year’s competition drew more than 60 applicants from across the Southeast, with six finalists selected to perform.
Lewis also highlighted upcoming Dothan Performing Arts events, including Back in Black: An AC/DC Tribute and the free Park Series concerts, saying the organization’s goal is to continue growing entertainment opportunities throughout the Wiregrass.
