Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Dothan United’s new head coach Ricky Davey joined the Dragon’s Den Coaches Show alongside Aaron to kick off the inaugural episode and preview an exciting season ahead.
With the team just weeks away from its first friendly, preparations have been a whirlwind focused on recruiting and building on last year’s success. Familiar faces are returning, including fan favorites and key contributors, while new talent from across the country and internationally is adding depth to the roster.
Fans can expect the same high-energy matchday experience at Rip Hewes Stadium, now enhanced with a new permanent pavilion for added comfort. Off the field, the club continues to emphasize community engagement with events, meet-and-greets, and special themed nights.
The season begins May 2 against LAX FC, followed by a May 9 matchup against Fort Rucker, honoring military members with special ticket offers. League play opens the following week against Montgomery, setting the stage for a competitive start.
