Dothan, Al. (WDNews) – Daniel Lewis and Ashley Cain joined “What’s Happening Wiregrass?” to chat about an exciting lineup of events happening in downtown Dothan this April. The duo shared that this month is shaping up to be one of the busiest yet, featuring everything from live music and festivals to community events and major performances.
The Loop Festival kicks things off at its new home in Porter Park, bringing live music, art vendors, and food trucks for a full weekend experience. Throughout the month, visitors can also enjoy concerts, including performances by Tab Benoit and Samantha Fish, as well as a highly anticipated appearance by Bob Dylan at the Civic Center.
In addition to ticketed shows, the park continues to host free, family-friendly events, including live music and a showing of Twilight with themed trivia. Organizers emphasized their goal of creating accessible, community-focused entertainment for all ages.
With a packed calendar and something for everyone, April is set to be a standout month for Dothan’s growing performing arts scene.
